Jacqueline Wheatcroft

is Professor of Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She is a national and internationally recognised Chartered Psychologist, Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Forensic), and Registered Intermediary (RI) who has significant journal, conference, and other text publications. Jacqueline is also a Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) which represents the highest recognition of significant contribution made to the advancement or communication of psychological knowledge or practice by research, teaching and publications. Her research interests broadly surround the enhancement of information, intelligence and evidence in applied contexts. The overarching aim of Jacqueline’s work is that procedural practice in applied fields is supported by evidence-based research that impacts upon and shapes new ways of working in systems to the betterment of society. In doing so, the security of those processes and outcomes for the individual and society will be maximised. One focus of her work has been on the effects of process, procedure and questioning techniques on the information people give. In addition, Jacqueline has given evidence in court as an expert witness and been invited to venues across the world to deliver keynote speeches about her research. Her work straddles disciplines and contributions have broken new ground. For example, most recently her work has informed and contributed to the 20 Principles of Questioning which guide the ways in which children and vulnerable witnesses are examined in the court process. She has also pioneered the development and application of an interview protocol (LIP) which has been used in investigations (including children), post incident management, and by United Nations (UN) experts. Jacqueline works with partners and agencies to translate research outcomes into practice by enhancing information and processes to enable accurate decision-making in applied settings worldwide.

Pablo Gutierrez

is Policy Officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), leading EU policy initiatives that advance the digital transformation of the construction ecosystem. Their work focuses on analysing EU and national initiatives to modernise the built environment and monitoring the implementation of related legislation. Contributing to the Strategy for Housing Construction under the Affordable Housing Plan, Pablo Gutierrez works to integrate digital tools into housing policy, promoting a more sustainable, efficient and competitive EU construction sector.

Calvin Kam

FAIA, bSI Fellow, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Strategic Building Innovation, bimSCORE, the BIM Supporters Group, and StrategicGreen.AI. He is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), where he advances strategic innovation in management scorecards, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), sustainability, and digital twins.
A Fellow of both buildingSMART International and the American Institute of Architects, Dr. Kam is President of buildingSMART USA, Chair of its Education and Professional Certification Committee, and serves on buildingSMART International’s Compliance Committee. He also co-founded and served as Senior Program Expert for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)’s National BIM Program.
Dr. Kam advises public and private owners and operators worldwide, including Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority, Walt Disney Imagineering, leading developers, and multiple Hong Kong government departments, where he led teams collaborating with the Development Bureau (DEVB) and Buildings Department to advance BIM-based Statutory Submissions. He has delivered keynote and plenary addresses in over 20 countries and contributed to APEC publications, book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers.
His leadership in digital transformation and openBIM adoption has been recognized with awards including ENR’s “20 Under 40” and BD+C’s “40 Under 40,” alongside other fellowships and honors.
